Dress (after dyeing)

This is the dress after we dyed it, before adding any accesories. We painted large and small circles in cochineal (purple) and filled them with eggplant (grey). The dye we used was 100% natural and made from lunch scraps from the cafeteria.
I think it is amazing how beautifully the dye job on this dress came out. While it isn't exactly the diamonds you first envisioned, the circles (with the inner and outer colors) convey, I think, a similar design concept. Great work - you all should be proud of your hard work and final product!
